We Moved!

Clearshield Protection would like to thank each and every one of our clients, clients to be and suppliers for an awesome 2012.  Due to the increase in vehicle wraps clients we needed to expand to a larger facility.  We moved  to 3520 SW Armellini Ave, Suite B, Palm City FL 34990.  This location allows us to increase our print and installation area so we can meet the needs of our clients in a timely fashion.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. While most people are aware of breast cancer, many forget to take the steps to have a plan to detect the disease in its early stages and encourage others to do the same. We have made a lot of progress but still have a long way to go and need your help!

With requests for sustainable digital printing on the rise. We offer the client "green" non-solvent, odorless water based HP latex inks and the availability of recyclable printing materials. This allows us to keep the environment in mind, eliminate special ventilation for our facility as well as the clients space, reduce media waste, and to support environmentally conscience clients.

We also work with local business owners directly, advertising agencies, interior designers, decorators, print shops and sign stores.

Client requested our premium installation with XPEL Ultimate Paint Protection film; hood, fenders, mirrors, bumper, lights and rear trunk ledge

This included full wrapped edges: hood, fenders ( hood and fender wells), bumper (front ducts and fender wells and tow hook areas.

We also protected the headlights and lower fogs.

TIP: How many times have you seen scratches, dings and chips on the rear bumper ledge from a golf bag, luggage or purse etc.  Protection of the rear top section of the bumper is a must.

Wrapped edges always look clean, neat and easy to take care of.  No edges  - no areas for wax or dirt to build up.

Following extensive testing in Europe,  Marine Protection films are now being used in increasing quantities by Marine manufacturers and their customers.  Protective Films have a huge benefit to boat owners as it can drastically cut the amount of time the boat is out of the water for essential maintenance and repairs.

3M  protective films can be used along the entire waterline of the hull to stop algae and other discolouration taking place. At the end of the season, when the boat comes out of the water, the film can be simply cleaned or removed to reveal a clean hull underneath. New film can then be applied.

Other areas on the deck can be fitted with 3M protection films.  Entrance ways or areas that might get kicked, scraped or scratched by visitors coming aboard.  If the boat is large enough to have a platform at the stern to take jet skis etc., these areas can also be protected.

Camo Trailer

Camouflage is an art of concealment.

Trailer Wrap with Bushwolf Marshland Camo Pattern recently installed on a new 14' trailer. The  Bushwolf Marshland Camo pattern was printed on 3M IJ 180 material with a gloss overlaminate and took a full day to wrap.   Camo Trailer Wraps are available in many different patterns.

Even the Bucks were trying to eat the leaves off this wrap!

This Client wanted to protect his super car and maintain the vehicle's resale value.  We started with the best patterns in the industry - XPEL DAP patterns, then we chose the most durable paint protection film - XPEL Ultimate and  finally modified the patterns to insure all areas which are wrappable on this sports car ARE wrapped.  No hand cut patterns here, no need and no reason.  

Full coverage and wrapped doors also protected was wrapped rockers and wrapped rear wheel fender protection.

All edges are wrapped for a clean professional and truly invisible look.

We removed the side blinkers, air ducts and tow hook for full wrap detail.  Also the fenders were completed wrapped.

Headlight Lens Restoration with Protective Film

2006 Volvo XC90

This client told us they had the lights polished twice over the past 2 years.  This process is relatively inexpensive, quick and involves polish and a headlight liquid coating which does nothing other than add a little gloss and little protection.

Before the 6 step restoration process

Our process includes a 6 step 3M restoration to remove the damaged coating and bring the light back to original high gloss. ( this light above is polished and ready for 8 mil headlight protection film to add more gloss and most importantly protection.

This vehicle has over 160K miles and the lights look brand new!

Clear Bra - 08 Porsche Worx Turbo

This Client purchased this vehicle with less than 11K miles.  Awesome 2008 Worx Turbo in pristine condition front and rear carbon fiber spoilers and many motor upgrades.  We treated this road beast with XPEL ultimate paint protection film in the high damage prone areas.

Protected the hood, fenders, mirrors, bumper and lights.

Bumper is fully wrapped without a bulk installation. We used XPEL DAP and programmed 1/4" to 1/2" wrap throughout the front bumper and 3/4" into the fender wheels. No hand cutting patterns and the coverage is better than a bulk installation!

Removed the headlights, blinkers, toe hook cover and Porsche emblem on the hood to insure we have wrapped all the areas.

2004 Mercedes E55 Headlight Restoration with 3M Scotchgard Film

When your headlight and fogs lens get yellow, pitted and damaged from the environment you want to have them restored to like new condition.  The issue arises when you remove the damaged protective coating on the lens, you open yourself to continual maintenance of polishing the lens ever few months.  This is never mentioned after you get your headlights polished by a local vendor or purchase a do-it-yourself kit.

Care and maintenance of your headlight lens is simple and easy.  We recommend XPEL Paint Protection film sealant on the headlight lens when you wash/wax your vehicle.
